Molly has been named a finalist in the PNME/Alia Musica Composition Competition! Her work Dollhouse will be performed by Alia Musica on November 16, at 8pm, at Kresge Hall (Carnegie Mellon University), along with works by the other finalists David Liptak, David Stock, Sean Neukom, and James Ogburn. A winner will be chosen to compose a new work for PNME.
Molly will participate in the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival this year as part of their new Emerging Composers Program! Her woodwind quintet Vintage, will be premiered on August 5 as part of the festival.

Molly Joyce has been named a winner in the International Alliance for Women in Music Search for New Music Competition! She is the recipient of the Ellen Taaffe Zwilich Prize for her piece Royal Tide.
Molly Joyce and bassoonist Midori Samson were recently featured alongside composer Svjetlana Bukvich and violinist Patti Kilroy on the Music With A View Festival at the Flea Theatre, curated by Kathleen Supove.
